I am compelled to capture images of historic and abandoned places. Architecture tells stories about our culture throughout history. They are monuments to our past and the remnants of our beliefs, describing how we live and change throughout history. Time and the elements continue to transform them, as time transforms us. There is a sense of loss that compels me to romanticize these remains making them appear more dreamlike, thus referencing memories. In this portfolio, Enduring Stones, I feature images captured with a panoramic camera, printed full frame using hand-coated palladium.
