The Goddess Within series is an investigation into the mythologies and stories about the individuals and the symbolism associated with them. Throughout history, the Goddess’s power has been slowly eroded by men. Her role as creator continued to be diminished, becoming restricted and subservient. Men vilified her in order to contain her. Yet her power remains strong within those who look to her for empowerment. My story telling through still life starts with my collection of oddities. I add symbolism, the Goddess, and a bit of fiction and legend to build compositions that create a twisted look at the Goddess Within all of us.
