BIOGRAPHY
Sandra C. Davis was born in 1960 and grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA. While attending Moore College of Art, in Philadelphia, the graphic design major suddenly found a new world through the camera lens, a world, which gathered images in a completely different way. This led to her splitting her major between photography and design. In the years following, Sandra enjoyed graphic design positions, all the while pursuing her fine art photography. In 1997, to reenergize her fine art passion, she began studying non-silver printmaking processes at The University of the Arts with her now mentor, Sarah Van Keuren. This led to a major career change. She now teaches photography and non-silver printmaking processes and has recently received her MFA in Book Arts/Printmaking at The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA.
